Jon Bond is a Government Affairs Specialist with Lewis Kappes Governmental Relations Group, LLC. He is a Democratic Party activist and was the party's nominee for Indiana Supreme Court Clerk in 2002.
Bond has experience as an advisor, lobbyist, and attorney for state and local governments and businesses. His extensive experience in economic development, workforce development and environmental management provides critical expertise to businesses seeking assistance with state and federal regulatory agencies. He has lobbied the Indiana General Assembly on energy and utility issues, gaming and taxation issues, insurance and civil tort issues, and rules and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Lewis and Kappes, Bond served as the Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Planning for the Indiana Economic Development Council and as Program Coordinator for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
Bond is a graduate of Hanover College, the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, and the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute.
Bond maintains membership in the Indiana Economic Development Association, the International Economic Development Association and the Indiana Bar Association. He currently serves as President of the Alumni Housing Board for Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Hanover College.
