Bononi, Michael J.

Mr. Bonner conducts a diverse civil litigation practice, representing clients across the nation in matters involving wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury claims, commercial disputes, consumer class actions, and products liability. Mr. Bonner joined Ansa Assuncao in November 2010 following a two-year judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert F. Kelly, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to his clerkship, Mr. Bonner earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of Outside Articles for The Villanova Environmental Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Bonner interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and with the Honorable James Murray Lynn in the Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.

Before entering law school, Mr. Bonner was a journalist for The Delaware County Daily and Sunday Times, reporting on regional news and writing daily news copy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism, cum laude, from Loyola College in Maryland, where he minored in music.

Mr. Bonner is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey state bars, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He is also a member of the Brehon Law Society, and is an accomplished pianist.
