Allen Bonner, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a double major in philosophy and history, receiving honors for his senior thesis on David Hume. He lived and worked in London, England, before attending Columbia University’s School of Law, where he was a member of the Human Rights Law Review editorial board, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a Jacob Berger Fellow. A former assistant public defender, Allen is experienced in both trial and appellate litigation, the rules of evidence, cross-examination, and jury selection. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, Washington, D.C., and the District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Allen is an active member of the ABA's Juvenile Justice Committee and a pro bono volunteer for numerous causes in Georgia and Florida.
