Clint’s practice is focused primarily on real estate and business transactions, related federal and state tax issues, and estate planning and wealth preservation.
His real estate practice includes real estate transactions with an emphasis on real estate finance, commercial acquisitions, dispositions and leasing.
Clint’s business practice consists of general business planning, along with issues of organization, operation, mergers and acquisitions and liquidation of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships and joint ventures.
Clint’s tax practice focuses on federal and state tax issues relating to business and real estate transactions, as well as business structuring. He advises both lenders and borrowers regarding the tax consequences of loan workouts, discharge and foreclosures. Clint has significant experience regarding tax issues affecting limited liability companies, partnerships and joint ventures under Sub-Chapter K of the Internal Revenue code. He also counsels clients in all aspects of estate and gift tax planning and wealth preservation.
Clint was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He has served as a youth soccer coach for the Capitol Youth Soccer Association and a ski racing coach for the Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Boise State University Bronco Athletic Association. Additionally, he has provided pro bono legal services to local charities, including the Richard J. Sabala foundation in McCall, Idaho. Clint is also a member of the Bogus Basin Recreation Association and is currently involved in its fund raising efforts for the Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area.
