Monika M. Blacha has been advising her clients and helping them resolve their disputes both in and out of court for the better part of the past two decades.  Ms. Blacha views her role as both counselor and advocate. 

Her practice is focused on all aspects of the family.  This includes family law, estate planning and elder law.   She counsels her clients to plan for the unexpected as well as for retirement.  This includes putting together wills, trusts, powers of attorney and any other necessary documents to ensure that if the unexpected happens each family will be have the necessary tools and the financial means to carry on with their lives.  Ms. Blacha also counsels elder clients and their families about important major decisions as they plan for and enter retirement including estate planning, retirement benefits, financial assistance, planning for and filing for guardianship as well as nursing home litigation.  She also represents clients in probate as well as will contests to ensure that each client's estate plans are carried out and administered efficiently and in line with their predetermined wishes.  Ms. Blacha also represents clients during the complex and trying times of divorce and custody litigation.  She is a certified divorce mediator and uses her mediation as well as her many years of litigation skills to effectively manage her client's divorce and custody matters so that each family can resolve their disputes and go on with their lives.
