Cathy is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association, and is based in our Minneapolis office. She is a member of the Business Litigation Section and practices principally in the areas of:

• Business litigation
• Energy law
• Energy litigation

She is admitted to practice in Minnesota and is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota, American and Federal Bar associations. Cathy is also a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Cathy received a B.A. magna cum laude in political science, as well as Spanish language and literature, from Marquette University. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as note and comment/research editor for the Minnesota Law Review . After finishing law school, Cathy was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Bruce D. Willis in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Cathy joined Briggs in 2006.
