RACHEL BIEN is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, where she represents employees in individual discrimination cases and wage-and-hour class actions.
Before joining Outten & Golden LLP, Ms. Bien clerked for Judge Thomas G. Nelson on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from Brown University.
Before law school, Ms. Bien worked at Human Rights Watch in its Europe and Central Asia division. During law school, Ms. Bien represented asylum seekers as a participant in her law school's Safe Harbor Clinic and interned with the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project.
Ms. Bien is admitted to the state bar of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
