Prichard Bevis handles a wide variety of business disputes with a primary emphasis in commercial litigation, transactions and appeals in the oil, gas and energy sector.  He has successfully represented exploration and production companies, mineral and royalty owners, surface owners, national banks and defrauded oil and gas investors.

Prichard began his career as an appellate attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.  While there, he successfully represented the State before the highest criminal court in Texas in a matter that was the subject of an article in the May 27, 2002 issue of the Texas Lawyer.  Prichard's goal to pursue a private litigation practice became a reality when he left the District Attorney's Office two years later.  Since 2005, Prichard has focused his practice on the oil, gas and energy sector including energy related transactions and complex commercial litigation.  

After earning his bachelor of business administration degree with an emphasis in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi in 1995, Prichard obtained his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1998. Prichard was licensed to practice law in 1998 and is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas.  He is a member of the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section of the Texas Bar Association, the Energy Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and the Energy Section of the Tarrant County Bar Association. 

Prichard was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and resides in Fort Worth with his wife Kelly and their daughter Lindsey.  In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, traveling, cooking and spending time with his wife and daughter.
