Susan Betcher focuses her practice on patent procurement, patent infringement and validity analysis, intellectual property license drafting and negotiating, due diligence analysis of patent portfolios and intellectual property counseling. She has performed patent preparation and prosecution over a broad range of technologies with concentration on mechanical, electromechanical, and medical device-related technologies. She drafts and prosecutes patent applications according to strategic portfolio planning and performs intellectual property due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. She also advises clients on establishing internal patent procurement programs, analyzing and protecting competitive market advantages, and international patent prosecution strategies.
