She has been of counsel since July of 2008, when she became a sole practitioner. Prior to that, she was in private practice with a firm of three attorneys in a general practice firm. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University, College of Law in DeKalb, Illinois. She is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois, a certified Arbitrator and a member of numerous bar associations. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Education for the Round Lake Area Schools Community Unit School District #116 and is in her second year as Secretary of the Parent Teacher Student Association for the Round Lake Middle School. Her areas of practice are Real Estate Transaction and Law, Family Law, Landlord Tenant Law, Small Claims Litigation and Collections.
