Mr. Benson was an attorney in Utica with Lockwood & Golden and later The Golden Law firm for over 23 years, where his areas of practice included Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation and Veterans' Disability. He has now joined the law firm of Peter M. Hobaica, LLC at 2045 Genesee Street, Utica, NY, where he will continue to practice SSD, WC, VA and personal injury law.
He is a member of Oneida County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the Injured Workers' Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association.
Mr. Benson is a former Board member and President of the Community Food Bank of Greater Utica. In his spare time he enjoys reading, hiking, silent films and chocolate labs.
