Bennett, Steven E.

Steven Benintendi is an Associate with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all phases of the firm's intellectual property practice. His expertise is concentrated in the areas of mechanical technologies. Steven joined the firm in 2003 and was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2003. Prior to receiving his law degree, he worked as a Post-doctorate Fellow in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan.

He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1991, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1992 from the University of Dayton. He then received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998. He later obtained a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Dayton in 2003. Steve is a past adjunct professor for the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dayton.

Steven is an active member of the American, Ohio and Cincinnati Bar Associations, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife Jessica and three children.
