Michelle Beltrano is principal and founder of the firm. With almost two decades of health care and regulatory experience, Michelle’s practice focuses on health and regulatory law, elder law, special needs planning, and probate and estate administration. Michelle understands the unique challenges health care providers and suppliers face in today’s complex regulatory environment. She represents clients on various matters ranging from employment agreements to regulatory administrative hearings.
In addition to representing health care providers, Michelle also provides robust legal representation to their patients on matters such as guardianships, powers of attorney, advanced medical directives, Medicare/Medicaid Eligibility and Long Term Care Planning. Throughout her years of experience working as a nurse Michelle has helped hundreds of patients and families cope with the death and dying process. She understands how difficult it can be to know what to do when your spouse becomes incapacitated and is no longer able to make his or her own medical or financial decisions. With an individual and caring approach, Michelle advises or guides clients through the end-of-life process while also focusing on their best legal interests. Michelle also provides special needs planning for children and adults who face physical and developmental challenges and require long term legal protections.
Michelle possesses a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University and is Certified in Health Care Compliance. As an advocate for early childhood development and education, Michelle is a member of the Board of Directors of the Child Care Council of Westchester.
