Jess C. Bedore III has been a trial lawyer specializing in both the prosecution and defense of criminal cases in California since 1976. Mr. Bedore has been a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization since 1987 and has successfully tried before juries both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney more than 125 criminal jury trials.

As a Senior Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Bedore founded and was the lead trial attorney in the Career Criminal Unit, supervised the Misdemeanor Trial Unit, including the Driving Under the Influence Division and supervised both the Juvenile Prosecution Unit and the felony trial attorneys.

He has successfully handled special circumstance murder cases, major felony trials involving violent sexual assaults, Three Strikes cases, as well as hundreds of driving under the influence cases misdemeanor and various felony matters.

Mr. Bedore is a Superior Court Judge Pro Tem in both Sacramento and Placer Counties, as well as a Peer Court Judge and mentor attorney.
