Former United States Congressman Chris Bell combines his background in litigation with his extensive knowledge of public policy to provide clients with a wide variety of services. He is Of Counsel for the Washington based firm of Patton Boggs and acts as a liaison for Texas clients seeking representation before the federal government. In addition, Chris has his own Houston-based litigation practice focusing on personal injury, business disputes, securities arbitration and defamation claims. After graduating from South Texas College of Law in 1992, Chris built a successful litigation practice while being elected to the Houston City Council in 1997 and Congress in 2002. Before practicing law, he received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and was an award winning radio and television reporter. Chris is married to Alison Ayres Bell and they have two sons, Atlee (13) and Connally (11). They attend Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal Church where Chris teaches Sunday School.
