Lina Beckford founded Beckford Law in 1995, focusing her practice in the area of Family Law. She has worked as a public defender in King, Snohomish, Thurston and Grays Harbor Counties. She entered private practice in 1994. A graduate of Brandeis University, she received her law degree from the Northeastern University School of Law in 1993 and was admitted to practice in the State of Washington in 1994. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Thurston County Bar Association and is a member of the Family Law Sections of each group. She sits as pro-tem Commissioner at the Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court and has been a presenter at a number of Continuing Legal Education programs. Ms. Beckford is a native of Guantanamo, Oriente, Cuba.
