ERIC M. BAUM, ESQ., a senior partner of Simon, Eisenberg & Baum, LLP, is the head of the firm's Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Mr. Baum has successfully represented and advised clients in a wide variety of complex real estate, landlord/tenant, construction, commercial, personal injury and discrimination litigation and appellate work. Mr. Baum has extensive experience in real estate litigation, representing a broad range of clients, from multi-billion dollar corporations to small closely-held companies and large individual property holders. Mr. Baum's experience extends to high-end commercial and residential landlord/tenant matters, representing landlords in litigation and administrative agency matters and construction litigation, including architectural and engineering malpractice and cases including damage to buildings caused by developer's negligence. Mr. Baum also has extensive experience litigating personal injury and discrimination claims. He has conducted hundreds of trials, mediations and arbitrations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Baum was in-house counsel to BLDG Management, Irving and Lloyd Goldman Real Estate holdings for 13 years. He was also in private practice before joining Simon, Eisenberg & Baum, LLP. Mr. Baum is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the District of Columbia as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Baum graduated from Syracuse University (B.S., 1990) and Widener Law School (J.D., 1993), where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society.
