Bauer, Jennifer A

Tom is a shareholder in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our Minneapolis office and is a member of the Business Litigation Section. Tom practices primarily in the areas of:

• Civil litigation
• Land use regulation

Tom is experienced in the areas of investigation, evaluation, management, mediation and trial of complex business disputes, personal injury and property damage cases, real estate cases and product cases. He is also experienced in land use and environmental regulatory matters.

Tom has been designated a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics. He actively serves with the Minnesota State Bar Association as an investigator for the 4th District Ethics Committee. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, Tom received his B.A. in international relations from Cornell University. He received his law degree summa cum laude from Vermont Law School, where he was a member of the Vermont Law Review. Prior to joining Briggs, Tom was an associate with another law firm where he concentrated his practice in the area of fire-related litigation. Tom joined Briggs in 2001.
