A 1993 graduate of the University of North Texas, Eric worked as a management accountant and project manager for six years prior to attending law school. During this period, he was heavily involved in the development of different product management databases and special accounting projects for a research arm of the electric utilities industry. In 1998, he earned an MBA from the McColl School of Business at Queens University. Eric received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2002. While at Wake Forest, Eric concentrated in the areas of corporate governance, securities regulation and commercial transactions. As a member of the Moot Court Board, Eric received the Best Speaker Award at the 2001 Irving R. Kaufman National Securities Law Competition held at Fordham University. He also worked as a teaching assistant for the law school's legal research and writing program. Eric is currently a member of the 2005-2007 Board of Directors of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce SouthPark Area Council. He is also a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a Tae Kwon Do instructor with over 20 years of experience in the martial art. Eric is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
