Mr. Bartholf received his Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Finance, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996, and his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1999. Mr. Bartholf returned to his hometown city of Monroe and joined Voegeli & Ewald Law Offices, S.C. as an associate attorney in October 1999. Mr. Bartholf became a shareholder in the firm in 2005. Mr. Bartholf practices a wide variety of areas including family law, guardian ad litem work, collection law, real estate, estate planning, probate, municipal law, and a general civil litigation. Mr. Bartholf serves as City Attorney for the City of Shullsburg, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Monroe, and has provided counsel for the Townships of York, Mt. Pleasant, Jefferson and the Village of Belmont.
Mr. Bartholf is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Green County Bar Association (President 2003). Mr. Bartholf has served on the Green County Elder Abuse I-Team since its inception in 2005. The goal of the Elder Abuse I-Team is to identify, educate and prevent elder abuse in Green County. Mr. Bartholf was a presenter at the legal seminar entitled “Successful Judgment Collections in Wisconsin” sponsored by the National Business Institute in 2005.
Mr. Bartholf is currently on the Board of Directors for Rainbow Childcare, Inc., a non-profit daycare, a position which he has held since September 2001. Mr. Bartholf was on the Board of Directors for the Green County Humane Society, Inc. from 2000 to 2004, serving as President from November 2001 to March 2004 and Secretary from November 2001 to October 2004. Mr. Bartholf currently provides legal consultation to the Green County Humane Society, Inc. and serves on the New Shelter Committee (since September 2007).
Mr. Bartholf is a life-long resident of the City of Monroe. Mr. Bartholf lives in Monroe with his wife, Kerri, their two children, Addison and Carsen, and their cats, Brutus and Cassie.
