The Barber Law Group is located at Two Renaissance Square in downtown Phoenix. Bretton's practice focuses primarily on two areas of law: 

1) Expungement, or what is known in Arizona as "conviction set aside" and "restoration of civil rights."

2) DUI, from simple misdemeanor to felony aggravated.

For one year Bretton spent hundreds of hours learning all aspects of these areas of practice through hands on experience with two attorneys who have spent decades practicing in these areas of law specifically.

Originally from the Detroit area Bretton moved to Arizona after graduating from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He relocated to Tucson to attend the College of Law at the University of Arizona. Bretton graduated in May, 2011 with a JD and a Certificate in Criminal Law and Policy and passed the July, 2011 Bar Exam. Prior to his post-graduate experiences Bretton clerked for the Hon. Deborah Bernini on the Criminal Bench at the Pima County Superior Court, at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Tucson, and with the Hon. Denise Page-Hood at the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District Michigan.

In addition to his practice of law, Bretton is an Associate Faculty member at the University of Phoenix. He loves being in the classroom and teaches many different classes at campuses throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
