Jonathan Bardavid is an associate in Wiggin and Dana's Labor, Employment & Benefits Department. He represents clients in litigation before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and regulatory bodies, involving all aspects of labor and employment law including discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage/hour, handbooks and contracts including covenants not to compete and non-disclosure agreements. Jonathan also counsels employers in all aspects of the employment relationship.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana he was an attorney at a law firm in New York City. Jonathan also worked for several years as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel. As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Jonathan represented New York City agencies in a broad range of employment related litigation, including several trials, arising in state and federal court. Upon graduation from law school Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Thomas A. Bishop, Connecticut Appellate Court.
Jonathan graduated with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Law from Binghamton University and received his J.D., cum laude , from St. John's University School of Law where he served as an Articles Editor for the St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary. Jonathan is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
