Valerie L. Barbic, a partner of the firm, was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 1992. She is also admitted to Federal District Court in the Western and Northern Districts. Ms. Barbic has extensive experience, including trial experience, in the areas of insurance defense and Labor Law litigation. In addition, she has a broad range of experience in toxic tort defense. She has defended homeowners in lead paint cases since 1998. She has engaged in the defense of asbestos claims for insulation and friction defendants. She is also experienced in the defense of mold claims, construction defect cases and product liability actions.
