Mr. Baney's practice focuses on both individuals and businesses in litigation and bankruptcy courts throughout Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Baney represents Plaintiff's and Defendant's, Debtors and Creditors.

As a litigation and trial attorney Mr. Baney has represented both corporate and individual clients in all phases of the litigation and trial timelines. Mr. Baney has experience ranging from shareholder and commercial litigation to representing individual plaintiffs in Americans with Disabilities Act actions, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and employment litigation.

For bankruptcy clients, Mr. Baney helps individual and corporate debtors reorganize their finances, allowing the individual or entity to refocus their efforts on the productive contribution to the community and markets rather than being bogged down with creditors and collectors. When representing debtors and creditors, Mr. Baney's interest, other than advocating for his clients, is maximizing the procedural and perceived fairness among parties accessing the bankruptcy system.

Outside of law, Nathan and his wife, Elizabeth, enjoy active lifestyles, travel, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Madison and Calvin.
