Greg Band, a Sarasota native, received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in accounting and was a varsity letterman on the tennis team. Thereafter, he attended the University of Florida College of Law and served on the Law Review. After completing his juris doctor degree, Greg received his masters in taxation from New York University School of Law.
Greg is active in community affairs and formerly served as chairman of the Jewish Community Foundation. He is also a "Big Brother" with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and previously received the "Big Brother of the Year" award. Most recently, Greg helped start the Sarasota Sports Foundation whose mission it is to break the cycle of child abuse, neglect and abandonment in our community. The Foundation has raised over $3,000,000 since January of 2005.
Greg practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, asset protection, charitable giving, taxation, and business law.
