Baker, Gregg S.

A native of Clark County, Illinois, Baird attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. In 1983, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree (in Accounting). Baird then attended Washington University School of Law, in St. Louis, Missouri, where he received his law degree, in 1986.

After law school, he first worked in the tax department in the Decatur, Illinois office of KPMG Peat Marwick. In January 1988, Baird returned to St. Louis County, Missouri, where he became an associate in the law Firm of Schramm & Pines, P.C. In late 1990, a professional opportunity invited Baird to return to Clark County, Illinois, to open his own law office.

While the law office is located in a rural area (farm country), the scope and sophistication of the downstate law practice requires the same skill, as in a metropolitan area. A successful law practice is built based upon proper attention to detail and high quality of services provided to clients.
