Tasha Bahal is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
During law school, Ms. Bahal completed internships for the Honorable Chief Justice Mark L. Wolf of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and in Governor Deval Patrick’s Office of Legal Counsel. She also completed a Rappaport Fellowship where she researched the legal implications of municipal health care reform in the City of Somerville, Massachusetts and proposed recommendations for reducing the municipality’s health care expenditures.
Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. Bahal worked with Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone in his performance management initiative, studying financial, personnel, and operational data to supervise city departments, inform policy decisions, and convert the city’s line-item budget to a program-based budget. She also served as a crime analysis intern with the Boston Police Department where she prepared monthly evaluations of high crime areas and researched and responded to crime-related information requests.
