Jamison P. Bagwell specializes in litigation with over 90% of his practice concentrated on personal injury.    Jamison takes pride in being the working man’s lawyer, helping those injured in car wrecks, 18- wheeler accidents, and through the negligence of others to get back to their life. He has represented clients across the southern part of Louisiana including Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Prairieville, Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, New Orleans, Mandeville, and the surrounding areas. 

Jamison has significant State and Appellate Court Trial experience in a variety of cases, including personal injury, criminal, construction contracts, and domestic and custody issues.  Since 2006, Jamison has been responsible for numerous six figure cases and is one of the youngest lawyers in Louisiana to try a five day jury trial in Federal Court resulting in a recovery of $7,500,000.

Active in the Baton Rouge community, Jamison donates his time to fundraise for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Jamison is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans School of Law and was admitted to practice by the Louisiana Supreme Court on October 28, 2005. Jamison also holds a BS in Business to Business Marketing from Louisiana State University.

Jamison is a member of the Louisiana Association of Justice, American Association for Justice, and the Coastal Conservation Association. He has also donated his time to other programs such as youth YMCA sports and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his law practice, Jamison is passionate about real estate and is the sponsoring broker of Bagwell Realty, a Baton Rouge real estate firm.
