Bailey, Michael F.

Ann Bailey is an Associate in the firm’s Gulfport office and is an active member of the Health Law Practice Group.  Her practice involves the representation of providers and suppliers including physicians, ambulatory surgery centers and other Medicare Part B suppliers in areas involving Medicare and Medicaid payment, contractual negotiations, healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA/HITECH privacy and security, Stark Law and the Anti-kickback Act and health care litigation, including medical malpractice defense.   Ms. Bailey also has experience in the areas of Real Estate Litigation, Personal Injury litigation and Products Liability and Casualty litigation.

Ms. Bailey is a Registered Nurse with experience in the acute care setting as well as utilization management and quality assurance.  Following her graduation from nursing school, she served seven years as an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.  Ms. Bailey was the Director of Quality Assurance for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and then Director of Utilization Management and Quality Assurance for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi immediately prior to entering law school.
