Prior to entering private practice, Kathleen spent four years with the Rock Island County State’s Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Kathleen was a full-time felony prosecutor for three years and tried approximately 28 felony jury trials primarily involving sexual assault and child abuse cases. Since entering private practice, Kathleen has focused primarily on family law. She has experience in child custody cases and has obtained custody for fathers in over twenty contested trials. In the area of criminal defense, Kathleen has defended multiple defendants in felony jury trials, including 1st degree murder, achieving acquittal in all instances.
