Rami co-founded Awadallah & Hudak so he can pursue his passion of helping business owners and entrepreneurs find peace of mind. Rami’s clients turn to him to help avoid legal obstacles that distract owners from focusing on their ultimate goal – the success of their business. His practical and results-oriented approach to practicing law allows him to provide outstanding legal services and solve problems, rather than create them.
Prior to his law career Rami was involved in his family's businesses for a number of years. He watched as critical decisions were made and conflicts were faced without the aid of sound legal guidance. He believes that, with outstanding advice, hours of lost time, effort, and stress could have been prevented. For these reasons, Rami offers alternative fee arrangements that give his clients the flexibility and predictability the traditional billing methods do not provide.
Rami is an accomplished trial attorney, having successfully tried complex and high-stakes cases in the country’s most notorious jurisdictions. However, he also knows that not all cases go to trial, in fact, some disputes should be resolved early to avoid unnecessary interruption. Throughout his career Rami has successfully negotiated the resolution of hundreds of disputes, including numerous multi-million dollar conflicts. Rami's background equips him with a distinct combination of trial experience and business expertise that creates a unique perspective to assist with current problems and avoid future issues.
Rami received his J.D. from University of Akron School of Law, where he compiled an impressive list of achievements. Rami was an Associate Editor for the University of Akron Law Review and participated in the New York National Moot Court Competition team. Most of Rami’s success in law school, however, came when he was able to showcase his natural abilities as an advocate for the University of Akron Mock Trial Team. As an advocate for the mock trial team, Rami faced and soundly defeated other advocates from the nation’s top-ranked law schools. In fact, Rami was the 2005 Sixth Circuit Regional Champion at the Texas Young Lawyers Trial Competition. Rami also competed in the NITA Tournament of Champions, a competition involving the top sixteen trial advocacy programs across the nation. Rami went undefeated in the preliminary rounds, won in the semi-finals, and was the runner-up in the finals, finishing second in the nation.
