While in law school, Ms. Asserfea worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Chester J. Straub of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as well as for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also worked as an extern for the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Ms. Asserfea worked as an administrative coordinator for a New York law firm. Additionally, she served as a legal intern for the Open Society Institute, Office of General Counsel in New York.
