Ashman, Phillip

Susan joined Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker in 2012 after receiving a graduate law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she studied national security law and its impact on the private sector in the areas of international law, trade, and cyber law, among other things. Before attending Georgetown Law, Susan clerked for The Honorable Avern Cohn in the Eastern District of Michigan after graduating from the Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, where she was a Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review.

Susan brings several years of technology and management consulting experience to the firm and has a special interest in assisting clients with litigation and transactional matters involving international, technology, and business disputes.
