Aruda, Nicole

Nicole’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration and elder law issues. Nicole helps families and individuals navigate and work through, some of life’s most difficult questions. As a mother of two school-aged children, Nicole understands all too well the difficulty clients face when contemplating painful situations such as incapacity and death. Whether her clients are grieving the loss of loved ones or doing their own estate planning, Nicole’s patient and thoughtful approach to the practice of law, ensures that her clients’ individual needs come first.

Nicole received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1992 and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 1997. She has been in private practice since 1999. Nicole is a member of the California Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section and also East Bay Trusts & Estates Lawyers. She is an active speaker, educating community groups on estate planning issues throughout the Bay Area. Nicole is a proud resident of Oakland and the Co-founder of Lower Rockridge Parents Group, a 500 member community organization that provides financial, community and political support for Oakland neighborhood public schools.
