Aronson, Martin L.

Jennie Arnold is an associate with Cook, Portune & Logothetis whose practice areas include litigation, employee benefits law, ERISA, and labor and employment law.

Following graduation from law school, Jennie served for two years as a Federal District Court judicial clerk.  Jennie joined Cook, Portune & Logothetis in 2009 and comes from a long, family tradition of labor union membership and brings to the firm a strong appreciation of labor unions, their struggles and the issues they face today.

Jennie received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2002 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati in 2006.  Before attending law school, Jennie worked as a newspaper reporter, and then while attending the University of Cincinnati, worked for a first amendment and civil rights law firm to help secure citizens' free speech rights.  Her interest in matters of free speech was reflected in her published law review article, United States v. Extreme Associates, Inc.: The Substantive Due Process Death of Obscenity Law, 74 U. Cin. L. Rev. 607, 2005.  While earning her JD, Jennie served as an editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review and the Human Rights Quarterly.  Today, Jennie focuses her practice on helping persons secure their economic and employment rights.
