Arnott, Stephen R.

Mr. Arnott serves as Of Counsel to the law firm of Clausen & Hassan, LLC. Stephen Arnott is an assistant professor in the Legal Studies department at Hamline University.

Before joining the Hamline faculty, Professor Arnott was the owner of Arnott Law Firm, P.A. where he practiced primarily family law. At Hamline, he teaches family law, alternative dispute resolution, contracts, evidence, legal research and writing, and legal interviewing.

Professor Arnott has also taught family law and legal writing at William Mitchell College of Law and has served as the legal instructor at the Minneapolis Business College. He is a past chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Family Law Section and of the Ramsey County Bar Association Youth & the Law Committee.

Before entering legal practice, Professor Arnott was a diplomat in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs.
