Before joining Brown Sims most of Ms. Armstrong's work focused on the defense of First Party Insurance claims.

When the Houston Area was devastated by Hurricane Ike, Ms. Armstrong worked diligently with her client to assess liability and ward off false claims, all while ensuring meritorious claims were not affected by the onset of fraudulent ones.

With uncompromising determination, Ms. Armstrong spent months defending her clients, and working with adjusters and experts to ensure damages were properly assessed in a timely manner in order to ultimately limit her client's exposure.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 from the University of North Texas and Juris Doctorate in 2008 from South Texas College of Law. She is a Member of the Defense Research Institute, South Texas College of Law Young Alumni Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
