Mr. Anson grew up in St. Louis, MO., and attended Washington University, where he received a BS in business administration. He received his JD degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He was licensed to practice law in Missouri in 1974, and licensed in Illinois in 1981. He was a member of the Board of Directors of a sheltered workshop in Missouri for ten years, including serving two years as president. He has acted as defense counsel for employers and insurers for over thirty years. Mr. Anson organized and spoke at six Lorman Business Centers seminars on workers compensation, in the 1990’s. More recently, he organized and spoke at client seminars, on such topics as history of the law on repetitive trauma injuries, and the recent major revisions to the Missouri Workers Compensation Law.
