Annino, Brian Matthew

Mr. Annino is a litigation and transactional attorney whose practice focuses on business law, franchise law, real estate law, travel law, and estate planning/probate.

As a litigator, Mr. Annino represents clients in courts and arbitration tribunals throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Mr. Annino's primary litigation background includes representing franchisors and franchisees in disputes over franchise agreements; assisting developers, sellers, purchasers, and brokers in disputes over real estate purchase and sale agreements; and representing contractors, subcontractors, and property owners in disputes involving commercial and residential construction contracts.

As a transactional attorney, Mr. Annino assists clients in forming new business entities and joint ventures; drafting and analyzing franchise disclosure documents; negotiating and drafting franchise agreements, business purchase and sale agreements, real estate purchase and sale agreements, travel-industry related agreements, and other commercial contracts; devising estate plans; and strategizing, negotiating, and implementing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate transactions, secured transactions, tax-deferred exchanges, debt reorganizations, and financing transactions.

Mr. Annino also represents personal representatives, beneficiaries, and heirs in probate proceedings. Also, he assists clients in administrative matters such as IRS audits, Social Security Administration proceedings, state tax matters, and state commission matters.

Mr. Annino is a two-time graduate of the University of Connecticut (B.A., 1999, J.D., 2003). He also studied European Union and United Kingdom Law at the University of Exeter in England.

While attending law school, Mr. Annino served as an aide to former U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman. Prior to law school, Mr. Annino clerked with the Connecticut General Assembly and interned with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
