Jason Ellis Anderson is a graduate of Utah State University and the University of Washington Law School, where he attained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2001 and subsequently received a Masters of Laws in Taxation in 2002. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2002, the United States Western District Court of Washington in 2002, and the United States Tax Court in 2006. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Washington Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Anderson has been in private practice in King County since 2002. The bulk of his practice has involved representing Washington consumers. Mr. Anderson acted as counsel for the plaintiffs in the case of Cherie Rule v. Charles Momah where a jury awarded the plaintiffs $2.2 Million for their injuries suffered under his care. Mr. Anderson has litigated cases in bankruptcy court regarding the dischargeability of debts including student loans and tax debts. He has represented taxpayers in the United States Tax Court. Mr. Anderson has represented consumers in lawsuits in state and federal court for breach of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other consumer protection statutes.
Mr. Anderson enjoys Opera, Yoga and spending time with his child.
