I was born and raised in England before coming to the United States during my high school years. After graduating from high school in Florida, I spent three years working for the office of the Sheriff in Jacksonville, Florida. I eventually made my way west to California where I attended San Francisco State University, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. I then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor on May 19, 1990.
Upon graduation from law school I worked as an associate attorney in a small general litigation office until I established my own firm known as Jacqueline A. Anderson, A Law Corporation, in June 1994. Since its establishment, my office has been dedicated to the practice of family law representing parents and children in numerous court actions. I have been an active participant in the Santa Clara County Bar Association. I have chaired the SCCBA Family Law Section in 2012 after serving as Vice Chair in 2011. I have chaired the Child Representation Subcommittee and the Domestic Partnership Subcommittee. I am a past member of the Rainbow Committee. I am a current member of numerous committees and continue to be active in the Family Law Section.
When not at work I enjoy sports, hiking, traveling and politics. I am an avid supporter of Stanford Women’s Basketball, having held season tickets since 1988.
