Jessica Kramlinger Altmann practices in several areas including family law, small business services and intellectual property. Ms. Altmann’s primary practice area is family law, focusing on custody, divorce, parenting time, child support, prenuptial agreements, same-sex families and post-decree actions. Jessica is attentive to each client’s needs and goals. She is supportive of mediation or settlement as an option and is an effective advocate in the courtroom when litigation is necessary. In addition, Ms. Altmann assists business clients with a variety of needs including business formation, contract drafting and negotiating, as well as intellectual property protection and maintenance.

While attending law school at Hamline University, Ms. Altmann refined her advocacy skills as a participant in Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court as well as the American Bar Association’s Mediation Representation Competition. Ms. Altmann developed a keen sense for the courtroom as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Gary W. Bastian in Ramsey County for two years following law school.  Ms. Altmann stays active in the legal community as a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, Family Law League and Minnesota Women Lawyers. Ms. Altmann is a volunteer with Tubman’s Chrysalis Center. In addition, Ms. Altmann serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Voyager Outward Bound School, an outdoor experiential learning organization.
