Professional Experience

Sara Allen began her career as a Deputy District Attorney, litigating well over one hundred trials and spending many hours in the courtroom. When Sara left the DA’s office to open a private practice, she combined her passion for justice with her courtroom experience to provide her clients well-rounded legal services. Since Sara began practicing in 1999, she has gained experience in both state and federal courts, in civil and criminal matters. Sara's experience and dedication to achieving the best result for my clients are apparent in the many successful matters I have handled. I now focus my practice on all types of family law matters, including adoption, divorce, custody, child support and spousal support (alimony).

Sara has also given her personal time as a volunteer for many years on the Board of Directors for the Sexual Assault Resource Center, a volunteer for the Domestic Violence Resource Center and Domestic Violence Intervention Council. As a person deeply committed to family, Sara understand the needs of individual families as well as the safeguards necessary to create, maintain and protect each member of the family. Whether Sara's clients need assistance in adoption, surrogacy, custody arrangements, or a strong and reasonable advocate when relationships dissolve and divorce occurs, you can count on Sara to be knowledgeable, supportive, and compassionate.

Outside Activities and Personal

Sara and her husband, Andrew, are kept busy raising their two amazing daughters. In Sara's free time she can usually be found shuttling her girls to one of their many activities, or entertaining them. Sara is also an avid equestrian, and keeps up with my horse habit by giving riding lessons on each of her family’s three horses. Sara volunteers her time with two separate animal rescue organizations, and provides a horse for children to ride that may not otherwise have such an opportunity.
