Stephen Albright, Esq. is a partner at the firm and has in excess of 25 years of transaction and litigation experience including jury and bench trials in both federal and state courts as well as arbitrations.
Mr. Albright’s diverse real estate and litigation practice includes representation of real estate developers, commercial and residential landlords, cooperative corporations, mortgage lenders and insurance companies. He has handled all aspects of real estate acquisitions and sales including representation of seller, purchaser, lender, title insurer, lessor and lessee. In addition, his real estate litigation experience includes claims involving specific performance, breach of contract, partition, broker contracts, tax certiorari, condemnation, summary proceedings, mortgage foreclosure, cooperative lien foreclosures, title matters, real estate limited partnerships, fraud, corporate dissolution, construction, environmental, collections, general liability, and appeals. He has negotiated and drafted construction contracts, residential, commercial and shopping center leases, and handled loan workouts, mergers and acquisitions, debt collection, shareholder agreements, business purchases and sales, equipment sales, and corporate secretary duties. Mr. Albright has also served as counsel to Primary Land Services LLC and HSBC Land Title Agency (USA) LLC with primary responsibility for commercial title matters.
Mr. Albright graduated cum laude from St. Francis College with degrees in computer science and business administration and received his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University. He is admitted to the bars of New York State, U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel.
