Dana Alden has practiced in the area of intellectual property for more than fifteen years, both litigating intellectual property cases, prosecuting patent and trademark applications, and completing acquisitions and divestitures of businesses owning significant IP assets. Mr. Alden has years of experience both as a trial lawyer in a law firm and as the general counsel to a large multi-national company.

Mr. Alden has secured patent protection both within the United States and in markets in other parts of the world. His patent prosecution practice has included diverse electrical, computer, and mechanical devices from nuts and bolts to lasers to computer software and business methods. He has represented clients within multiple markets, including consumer electronics, automotive and vehicle, and electric utility markets, as well as businesses within the medical and healthcare industries.

With experience trying jury and bench trials and arguing appeals, Mr. Alden has represented clients at all levels of the judicial system and has obtained multi-million dollar judgments and important injunctive relief securing exclusive market rights for his clients.
