Michael Ahn has been a licensed attorney in the State of RI since 1997. He also has been a member of the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 1998. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael was the General Chief Clerk of the RI Superior Court where he gained a great deal of experience of the inner workings of the judicial system, which continues to help him greatly in his practice. Michael also worked as Legal Counsel for the RI Office of Child Support Services, where he prosecuted cases involving the collection of child support for numerous litigants. As Legal Counsel for the Office of Child Support Services he was able to gain a great deal of knowledge on this issue that fellow attorneys have the confidence in him to refer to him when they have complex issues about child support.
Michael’s current practice involves representing many clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts in numerous areas of the law. He has handled family court issues, including divorces, child custody, child support, restraining orders, DCYF, paternity, etc. He has handled Personal injury matters for numerous clients. He has represented clients in criminal cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies.
Michael’s goal is to represent all clients to ensure that they are getting a fair and equitable resolution of their case. If he is unable to resolve a case to his client’s satisfaction, he is not afraid to proceed to trial on any matter. Michael makes it a point to attend to each client personally day or night.
