Carolyn received her B.S. from the University of Southern California in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management from the Marshall School of Business in 2005. Upon graduation, she worked for a Fortune 500 Defense and Aerospace company negotiating contracts for new missile system technologies with the military and within the private sector.
She then decided to further pursue her career goals and attend the University of West Los Angeles School of Law where she dedicated many hours to the student mentoring program. While in law school Carolyn had the opportunity to begin her career in Bankruptcy at the Law Offices of M. Jonathan Hayes as a law clerk. Carolyn graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2012 with a variety of honors and accolades, including Witkins Awards and Traynor Moot Court Honors Awards.
In June 2012, Carolyn was admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She immediately began working in Bankruptcy handling Chapter 7, 13 and 11 filings. Carolyn is concurrently an Adjunct Professor at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, teaching Legal Writing.
Carolyn joined Simon Resnik & Hayes LLP in 2012 and now enjoys working on all aspects of Bankruptcy, including Debtor and Creditor work. Carolyn believes that Bankruptcy, especially in the current economic climate, is increasingly challenging; however, she looks forward to helping more and more people in these difficult financial times.
Carolyn is fluent in Farsi and conversant in Spanish. She enjoys the arts, traveling, fine dining and spending time with her family and friends.
