Amanda J. Adkison joined Whitt Law LLC after gaining a wide variety of experience in taxation as an intern for the Illinois Department of Revenue and as a tax specialist for an accounting firm in Chicago. Mrs. Adkison received a LL.M. in Taxation with honors and graduated cum laude from the John Marshall Law School. As a student at John Marshall, she was honored in a national writing competition, participated on a tax moot court team, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Charles Winkler in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Since joining the firm, Ms. Adkison has focused her practice on taxation law and the representation of school districts and other taxing bodies which host nuclear power plants and other large special purpose properties.
