Born and raised in Hawaii, Andrew A. Agard has over 24 years of experience fighting for the legal rights of others. He is a member of the Hawaii Association for Justice (Jury Instruction Review Committee & Amicus Curie Appeals Committee). Hawaii State Bar Association, Public Justice Foundation and American Association for Justice. He also sits on the American Bar Association Advisory Panel and is a long-standing volunteer Arbitrator with the Hawaii Court Annexed Arbitrator Program, also known as CAAP Program and the Native Hawaiian Bar Association.
Andrew's volunteer efforts extend to Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii, a nonprofit organization providing no-charge legal help to the poor and disadvantaged. He is also a volunteer judge for the Hawaii State High School Debate tournaments and a volunteer for various free legal advice clinics.
A graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, Andrew received his Bachelor's Degree from Chaminade University and his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Richardson School of Law.
Outside of work, he is a sports, golf and exercise enthusiast who enjoys coaching beginner baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis and football for kids, fast motorcycles & cars.
Andrew and his wife, Yuri, have two sons, Ikaika and Pono.
