Adams, John L.

E.V. "Rusty" Adams III is an Of Counsel attorney with the Peterson Law Group, a 4 attorney civil practice law firm based in Bryan-College Station, Texas. He practices primarily in the areas of small business law and litigation.

Rusty grew up in Bryan and graduated from Bryan High in 1991. In 1996, he received a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in Business Administration, where he was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, the Corps of Cadets and Ross Volunteers. He then obtained a Master of Science in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1998 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University in 2004.

In addition to being licensed in all Texas courts, he is also licensed to practice in the United States federal courts in the Southern District of Texas.

Rusty is actively involved in the local community. Rusty currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Bryan ISD Education Foundation and as membership director for the Brazos County Young Republicans. Rusty is actively involved in the local Republican Party, the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University, Texas Aggie Band Association, Ross Volunteer Association, and as a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church of Bryan.
